After working with 'The Hedge Cutter' trimming and maintaining all types of Hedges (from the ones at Salmons Ponds to Government House) around Sandy Bay and the surrounding areas through 2007 - 2009, Aaron decided working outside was for him. "It was a great feeling of accomplishment to see the hard work pay off with the end result."
He then moved on to work with 'At Your Service' which specialized in Government home and garden maintenance contracts mainly for the elderly during 2009 - 2011. "It was always a good feeling to see the smiles on peoples faces after we finished a job for them"
It was there he decided to Start 'Aaron's Gardening Services' specializing in Hedge Trimming, Lawn Mowing and Garden Maintenance at a reasonable price or all types of people, gardens and ages. "Jim's mowing were charging $50 to $60 per hour per person and the other local Gardening companies were charging anywhere from $40 to $50 per hour per person. A lot of people can't afford that so I wanted to deliver a quality service at a reasonable price."
4 years working in the Horticulture industry and Aaron still enjoys being outside and working hard. "During my time working with some of the older blokes I was always told I was working too quick"
Here at AGS we believe there is never somebody who works too quick, only someone who cuts corners and jeopardizes the end results. "I wish to deliver the quickest possible job without jeopardizing quality, saving you money and myself time"
Because AGS is a small locally owned company, we make it easy for you to become familiar with your gardener and in turn for them to become familiar with your gardens. It WILL ALWAYS be the same person every time so you don't have to worry about meeting a new gardener every month. "I've worked for companies who will send one guy out to quote, a different guy to start the job and someone else to finish it"
